Some quality hood manufacturer reinforce the bracket underneath the hood or hatch with metal brackets, if that's the case then yes you can use it. But for hood with just merely fiberglass under layered with no metal bracket reinforcement we don't recommend using the dampers.

The dampers only for hatch back, coupe model doesnt use dampers at all.
