Aftermarket sr20 pulleys install

So i have a set of pulleys for my sr20 i bought ages ago and want to install, before I attempt it though I just wanted to ask a few questions,

1. Is it ok to install these with the motor in the car?
2. Are any of the nuts/bolts holding the pulleys on reverse threaded?
3.does anyone make colored replacment belts?
4. Do you need any special tools to pull the stock pulleys off?

Thank you for the straightforward answer. I plan to do the quest alternator upgrade so ill swap that one when i do that, debating replacing the ps pump, is there one that autozone sells that fits the SR or do i need to try and find one from japan or a used one? So basically i remove the belts, undo the nuts, pop old ones off, put new ones on, and replace hardware? Ive never done pulleys before, do they try and spin when loosened?

Also who makes the colored belts? Im trying to get as much color in the bay as possible, going for that bag of skittles over the top in your face look. All the black and silver shit is boring, figure if your swapping / upgrading shit might as well make it obvious its aftermarket

If you replace the stock harmonic balancer with a one of those cheap billet aluminum one - say bye bye to the bottom end.

My car came with one of those on it. Should I be that worried?

Also to the original poster, you may need a puller to remove the harmonic balancer.

I ran one for 7 years without bottom end failure...it really depends on the health of the existing bearings. My SR was extremely low mileage, which I purchased myself when I was living in Japan directly from a totaled car with only 30,000Km on the odometer. While you "should" really use a damper, there are many like myself who have run with a solid crank pulley without any issues...

Ive seen a few threads / FB posts about bottom end bearing failure. Coincidentally with solid crank pulleys.

Its just a personal theory of mine. Do what you please - but here is your fair warning to avoid solid $30 crank pulleys.

Ive only got the alternator, power steering, and ac? pulley (the 4 nut one) I dont have the main bottom one (harmonic) if i were to do the harmonic id go with a quality one like ait or whoever it was that makes the $300+ one

You will need a impact gun to remove the alternator pulley
