I bought this car in December of 2012 from Palm Spring Toyota Dealership in Florida. The car had one previous own, a lady who bought it right off of the showroom floor. Clean title and 153600 miles on the chassis. Car now has 159,870 miles.
Needless to say the car had very little rust being a FL car, which is why I bought it. I had planned to autocross and maybe a little drift/drag with the car but i never got around to doing any of that- just building it and driving it on the weekends. Overall the car was in good shape but it did have a little bit of a repair job on the driver side rear quarter panel, which i have since re-repaired (mostly). I also replaced the passenger door because the original one had some rust under the side view mirror and i couldn't weld at the time.
The car was completely stock.
Since that time, I have slowly modded the car to where it currently is. I have tuned the car myself with the help of a local tuner and it is probably running around 280-300 whp at a very conservative tune and 16 psi. Most of its time with me it was running on the stock T25 until late last year when i upgraded to a T3 setup. The car, with a complete tune, can do upwards of 400 whp with the current turbo. The car is in good shape, pulls hard, and handles pretty good. I also painted the car myself, which came out just okay- primer, color, and clear was applied.
