I bought this exhaust last year. after the break in it sounded real nice. deep tones. during the break in was the only problem because it sounded crazy loud in the cabin. give it 1 or 2 weeks and that goes away and a nice deep tone comes into play without all that cabin noise. I live in CT also and all the snow were getting it still sounds the same and the hangers on the exhaust are still mounted perfect. the toe hook I didn't have to remove but it does sit close to it. all in all its one of the best for this amount of money.

Quiet, Deep

I had a loud exhaust on my '98 and hated the drone on the highway. I heard great things about this from the s13 guys so after watching some videos I was sold. My car is a KA with i/h/e and test pipe. This exhaust has a great tone to it. Sounds pretty deep for a 4 cal and has a nice burble when slowing down in first or second gear. I was looking to get rid of the annoying drone on the highway and this exhaust did just that. No drone. Not to mention it looks spectacular. I was not expecting it to look as impressive as it does. The welds for the hangers look good and it's polished the whole way. If you want a relatively quiet, subtle, deep exhaust for your 240 I would definitelly recommend the MBSE Type E.

I had the original Apexi version of this exhaust on my S13 SR20DET with the single tip on the muffler. It was very quiet around town. There was a little done around 80MPH, but nothing unbearable unless you were on the road for hours. The quality was excellent.

Does anyone from Enjuku have this exhaust? How about additional feedback from other forum members?

I have a S14 BRM 2.5" Full SS exhaust with the largest resonator and I'm looking to upgrade to an affordable 3", but need to be sure there is no drone for road trips.

Thank you.

MBSE Type E's sound really nice on both KA's and SR's. I don't believe any of us own a type-E at the moment, but I know a few guys here have ran the MBSE single tip. Both great exhaust systems with a nice, smooth, low tone exhaust note. You won't have any drone issues with these systems. Here is a video for reference.

Well, I bought it from Enjuku last week and will be installing it sometime after work this week for my S14 w/S13 SR motor. It has a 3" GReddy downpipe and 3" test pipe. I'll report my impressions.
