^ that one really gets the point home, manual too. I wouldn't mind a template. you can really be in tune with the machine and know how it feels. The image I posted was from a late model Cadillac iirc. Not sure about the tpms though

Cadillac XTS
sorry, but thats just too much shit to look at. Gauge cluster = Speedo, Techo, Gas, Coolant, Odo... Oil pressure... That fucking thing has a GPS in the middle of the speedo that reminds me of grand theft auto. Im sorry but all that shit looks confusing to me. Analogue is #1. Digital is fucking lame. |

Shit mine barely works with my s13 haha the fuel gauge isn't accurate until the gas is almost gone and it read fine on the SOHC cluster and the tach will read mph when the motor is cold and the car is stationary Last edited by Vegass13; 10-01-2014 at 11:38 PM.. |

Do it. You won't though... Tomei made one for S13 not sure about S14. VeilSide actually made on for S14 not sure about S13. I like this. Coupled with the discontinued Defi HUD = win. Last picture is a very nice example of Broadfields work. |

I still think Broadfield's setup in his S13 is seriously one of the most perfect custom setups out there. Not sure if he changed it up or not, but if I had that it would be ideal.
OEM route, the 180SX kouki cluster has been a big favorite of mine. It's simple, a direct swap, and simply just has a nice refreshed look. I like the S15 cluster as well, but the fitment isn't as nice as I would like. I think Joel (xpertsnowcarver) had the cleanest install to date. Hoping to make mine just as clean.

No turn signals? Every cluster I make has turn signals... unless the customer requests that he/she doesn't want any. Keep in mind, every cluster I make is built-to-order. Tell me how you want it and I'll make it how you want it.... within reason of course and as long as it's physically possible.

Just so you know, I have about six different turn signal options now... if that's what really is holding you back. If not, I completely understand.

If there is a better quality option than Broadfield, I'd love to see it because dude is seriously the king of all things quality related on a 240 from what I've seen... Plus he's a nice guy so that helps too.

Probably means it is out of his price range.
Either way, I never understood why people are so eager to replace the stock cluster. It is the simplest, well laid out, easiest to look at cluster there can be. People need to stop pretending their 240SX interior should feel like a Cadillac. I would probably prefer the 240SX cluster in a Cadillac anyway instead of the obnoxious distracting clusters many new cars come with. |

Any remotely new cluster is not going into a car other than the car it came in. Like that Cadillac one up top... getting the TPMS sensors to work would be the least of your worries. That cluster is controlled by a body control module which is linked to the ECM.. which is linked with probably half a dozen other modules in the car. It all works off of a CAN bus system. Hell, my salesman's base model 2011 Chevy Colorado that I'm doing a cluster for has only 5 wires that run the entire cluster.
