Boost Limit for the Stock OEM SR20DET Recir Valve

Hi there

I know that many have talked about the OEM SMIC and Heat Soak associated with high boost. My Searches have yielded many answers in that dept.

I'm interested, however in the physical OEM Recirculating Valve and its boost limits as it relates to diaphragm strength.

Thanks much

You can expect it to start leaking boost/opening prematurely at around 11 psi.

Thanks much. If anyone else would like to concur or add their two cents it would be appreciated. Ive read of the diaphragm of OEM type Recirculating Valves rupturing under "high" boost. This is the reason for my question
