Bad Fuel Pump? Bad Alternator? Car Wont Start!!

Ok I am having some major difficulties with my car not starting.

First off it is an s14 with an almost complete s14 sr20 swap.
Brand new Walbro pump.

The pump will not prime at all. It is not getting power at all.

The fuse is good and the relay is good.

I am also getting a battery light in the cluster whenever the battery is hooked up. The battery is hooked up exactly as it was before the swap other than a new tray but I cannot see that making a difference.

After some searching I see that that light is mostly related to grounds or the alternator.

I am using the KA lower/charge harness but with one difference.

The plug to the alternator was cut off so I used the SR plug thinking it was the same. Is it the same? (Both are some color/stripe but sr has the gray bands)

Is there something Im missing? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys.
