Need some help again with My KA

So I have a 1998 Ka24DE and the thing keeps misfiring. I changed the spark plugs and the distributer cap/rotter, and it still misfires. The check engine light is on too. I think i have to pull some error codes from the ecu. How do you get the codes on a Ka24DE?

pretty sure you can search for the procedure, you should do that in the future. www.phatg20.net has an fsm that can help you with codes.

1) take off the passenger side kick panel to access the ecu

2) pull out the ecu w/o disconnecting the harness

3) you will find a hole, in which there is a screw that can take a flat head screw driver.

4) put the key in, put it on the click before start

5) turn the screw on the ecu all the way one way, wait 2 seconds, turn it all the way back.

the check engine light (cel) will start to blink. count the blinks to figure out the error code. you can find more details in the fsm.
