Hey guys, I've been a long time creeper here and read through all of this thread. My only question is what are you guys doing with the lower rad support when notching the top rad support? i have a mishimoto SR rad so i notched the top to lean it forward but not sure if i need to notch the bottom as well. some pics would be great!

I think it should be pretty similar considering that the same radiator fits both models, but you never know.

Got mine up and running awhile back. The car has been great on 93 octane. Finally decided to start using my flex fuel blending on the AEM Infinity and the car started getting a bit hot. Not overheating, just a bit above the middle. That seems ass backwards to me considering that E85 is suppose to burn cooler. Lambda readings are dead on, so not leaning out. It was about 87 degrees that day, but still, super weird. Have any of you experienced that?

are you doing this on a dyno? if ignition timing is retarded too much then you can cause the car to overheat faster. if its too advanced, youll get detonation. FYI - you can tune on lambda or the gasoline scale for E85 and whatever fuel mixture you have in there.

This is on the street. Wouldn't it over heat faster on 93 with the ignition too retarded? Maybe I'm thinking about this wrong on E85. That's a good thought though. You may be right.

it would overheat faster if ignition timing was too retarded on 93 octane but if youre tuned correctly then you should be in a safe spot right now which is not too advanced or retarded. i would take the car to a professional tuner (hopefully you have one in your area). that way they can go over all the parameters and make sure the engine is healthy, all lines are hooked up correctly, etc. unfortunately there are lots of reasons why a car can run hot

if you have anymore questions shoot me a PM

I have one of the larger alts, from Ebay, i believe it was an Eagle, i actually had a problem with it a few years ago i then took it to a local electronics place that rebuilds starters and alternators and they got it good as new.

Slightly modified Tundra alternator is what I run. Work great. Info is pretty easy to find on supraforums

For peeps doing is swap with cd009's, I used the Collins stage 3 s13 kit. With the prices if a r154 these days, it seemed like a good option

The kit came with:
Adapter plate
Flywheel
Stage 3 Clutch and pressure plate for 450tq
Pilot and throw out bearing adapters
Driveshaft
Shortened shifter
Trans mount and bracket
Engine mounts and brackets(xcessive brackets)
Arp flywheel bolts(45mm)
Pressure plate bolts(9)
Z33 bell housing bolts
2 studs to convert starter for easy swap

I paid $2500ish shipped.

I picked up a z33 trans for $498 shipped.

R154 with flywheel, bell housing, clutch etc is about that much, without the driveshaft, mounts, and all that.

Had zero issues installing.

Ok guys, lets talk axles. I finally blew one up today on a street session, and had to call friends to tow me home. That sucked.

What are my best options here? DS axles? Z33 conversion? Any other better options for axles? Bang for buck? I dont want to spend $1k on axles.

Well, I've already got a nice Cusco diff in my car, dont want to change diffs. And all of the R200 cars use the same axles anyways I'm pretty sure, just different flanges, but all same strength. I'll probably just replace with stocker for now, and next time I brake one do a set of the Z33 flanges, and Z33 axles...

Anybody running cxracing turbo back exhaust for twins or single on a S14? Have any issues with fitment. Mine is terribly off. I'm wondering if there is any tricks to get it to fit. I followed the same bolt up I saw on their website for the s13 .

I'd like to know this, too.. I don't plan to go wild with power just sitting somewhere slightly above stock, but alternate options out there would be nice. I've seen some hackjob stuff that involved cutting / rewelding of Z33 axles by a certain shop...
