rear brake and parking brake install

Hello,

I have an s14 with stock rear brakes...I just replaced all the rear brake components.(calipers rotors pads hardware etc)

I was having an issue with my parking brake sticking and not engaging but i figured it would be fixed with brand new calipers....not the case..I still have no tension on my parking brake when i pull the lever...I have adjusted the nut on the handle inside the car and it doesnt change anything. Do you think the culprit is the front section of the parking brake???? if so does anyone have any experience with changing just the front cable?? it looks to be a big PITA since it seems to sit right above the drive shaft...

The rear cables are ok and not stretched..I confirmed this by watching them work and engage the calipers....

and no im not just gonna do a z32 rear swap.. even tho i probably should have since im probably gonna have to replace the cables anyway..

thanks in advance
Anthony

Thanks but i dont need the parts ordered new oem nissan cable for the front....im kinda asking for people who have done this job and if they can give me and pointers or tips to make it easier....looks to be a bitch once you get underneath the car since the cable and mechanism sit directly above the drive shaft

thanks
Anthony
