Sr20 wont turn over after sitting 2 months

Sr wont start after sitting 2 months


History;

daily for 3 years after swap. Ran fine, let it sit for about 2 months. now wont start

1. after letting it sit for 2 months while i upgraded some parts i installed a new odyssey PC925 battery, went to turn on the car, and no go

2.Starter started sticking, and would only turn, every 6-8 cranks

3. bypassed starter signal wire, cranked but engine still would not turn over

4. checked relays and fuses. Found Melted EGI PUMP relay

5. checked ecu (code #62) and found pin 36 (Ignition switch) was burned, so i soldered it back

6.Added a gallon of fresh fuel...cranked engine, still nothing.

7. Switched out ignitor chip-nothing

8. Checked CAS- all wires working, signal wire working

9. Checked Spark -all 4 coils sending spark *checked with grounded spark plug

10. Checked injectors-took fuel rail off of manifold. all injectors firing

11. Tried starting fluid while cranking it-still wont turn over


To Do/Check list;

-Check compression
-get new spark plugs
-check engine harness
-try new ecu
-Set car on fire

Any ideas on what to try next or check would be helpful

Set engine to TDC and reinstall cas
Is it cranking strong?
Crank with the throttle wide open.
If you mean ether, as starting fluid? timing off or there is no air or compression.

sat for two months and was the battery disconnected? was the battery dead when you went to start?

Probably low crank amps

New battery bet it kicks over and purrrrs

Finally turned over, used starting fluid again with wide open throttle as u said and fought it a couple times till it finally stayed on

No battery, i removed it before letting the car sit since terminals had crazy build up


-now the starter only works wth bypass switch though
