Correct, the radial bearings work way better:

What height and stiffness swift spring would I need to achieve this on gen 1 500 series s13 coils?

You will not be able to go that low, but running a 6 inch spring and flipping the lower mount on Gen 1's will get you pretty low!

You'll be sitting on the front subframe with the tires off of the ground...

I was able to set my sway bar on the street with Gen 1's with their taller 12k springs and flipping the front mounts... You don't need 5" springs.

Terry, is there any way I could get my hands on some S13 super down lows?

So the current s13 generation is the same as the last gen super down lows?

The Gen 5 regular spec can get you ridiculously low. We can do a SDL spec, since everything we make is custom built to order. But the SDL spec is really not necessary unless you want to lay frame and drive around like that lol. But we can make it if you want it!

It wont work because the shaft is to long. The shortest spring you can run is a 6 inch.

Got mine mounted and everything and am enjoying them on my s14

However there was some confusion as i received s13 coils. It would have been fine but the z32 mounts were half the length they should be. Worked it out with chris to get lower mounts off from another car mailed which were the required length and a few mm wider. I still need to find a longer mounting bolt as the original is too short. But I would much rather send these back and get some lower z32 mounts that are extended

But just to clarify with him or anyone else, the s13 and s14 mounting points are the same, the s14 coils just normally have longer strut housings. But with the lower mount extended you can still use them like you guys have done. Just providing this so it doesnt happen to anyone else

Following pics show maximum height with first pair of z32 mounts. And the size compared to original rear mounts

Glad you enjoying them. I noticed that on the Z32 mount. I think we are going to officially not offer the Z32 mount on the S14 application. If you are not happy with your purchase overall please let me know and I can take care of you. You can email me at [email protected]

So this weekend I installed radial bearings on my fairly old (don't know which gen) FA500's. Did I do something wrong? Left is without the new bearing, right is with the new bearing installed. Note the amount of thread left on top.

i bought some gen 4's brand new with 7/6 rates. ride was awesome but after some drifting they turned out to be a little too soft for me so i went to 10/9 springs with no revalving. the 10/9 setup was awesome, perfect for the track and not too harsh to daily. these were more comfortable than any other coils ive ridden on(isc, tein super drift, megan,bc racing, isis, ebay). and they go as low as you ever need to.

that picture is collars removed but i could get lower in the front by adding preload or using a shorter spring, and lower in the back by using a shorter spring.

they also go pretty high if thats what youre into

first set was s good i just ordered another but with 11/9 springs this time
