Kilamax03 s13 boost or die trying

Whats up everyone I wouldn't consider myself new here lol but im still some what of a newb to the s chassis platform. ive always wanted a 2 door and something rwd.

Ive been thinking when should I start a build thread and I figured the best time would be now considering im losing momentum on my build and looking for inspiration.

bought the car from a friend who decided to get a Camaro SS (big upgrade)and one dope ass car..

I also own a 2003 Nissan maxima that I daily and still mod here and there.

any who comments are welcome please don't bash me cause if you have something negative to say I really don't care lol but insight and guidance is welcome.

here is the car when I first bought it

dropped on stance coils 280z wheels
I isis front and rear lower control arms (I think)
and an HKS exhaust. everything else Is pretty much stock.

So after my 5 lug swap i decided to go a little further with the mods nothing major just little stuff to make a difference in appearance and handling.. I saw a friend with an x bar and thought it looked pretty cool so i sought one out and bought the god speed x bar. I didnt use the end bars because i felt there was no need. I also re fittwd my chuko side skirts and i also upgraded my dash to white led's

After a while i felt like the car was out growing yhe stock 350z wheels and came across a deal to do a trade for another set of wheels.. I also got a hole less hatch from the junk yard with a wiper figured it would be better than having to repair the holy hatch i had.

So after convincing myself to go lower i realized i had to roll the front and rear fenders and i also took off the coils to examine them and i also decided to upgrade my ruca in case i wanted to add more camber or take out camber. I maxed out the stance coils in the front and raked the back a little bit because i had a sligtly fatter tire back there..

motor out, I started looking for things I wanted to keep before I sold the shell, so I kept the seats the wheels and a few other notable things I needed... wish I would of kept the 5 lug conversion on it would of saved me a lot of headache and money that I ended up having to spend anyway...smh

started taking the head off and check for ther things in the cylinder walls

I didn't take any close pics but I saw that some of the pistons had slight nicks on the edges.. the cylinder walls seemed fine though... but now I was like might as well open up the oil pan... and in there I found lil bits of aluminum....

once again its been a while so these pictures are buried in my phone... but it was like the size of dime, a couple of them..

so instantly I knew I was gonna have to go the whole way or scrap the build

so I started ordering parts for the motor rebuild

i started to change out worn parts on the car because my steering felt real sloppy. also i sold my stance coils because they seem to bobb under load like when coming into s steep corner the front end would just bounce, and i hated that.. so i went with PBM,,

I as back and forth on getting s14 FLCA's but i just opted out and kept the s13 ones and pressed s14 ball joins in them..'
the PBM coils are awesome i love them ride is perfect even at the height im at.. people ride in my car and are shocked to how smooth it rides

the tien inner and outter tie rods were deff a great touch.. but for some off reason one of my rubber boots got sliced im not sure how... smh i put some silicone on it nd prayed it would seal it... so far so good..
