Need to get 240 Running!!! HELP

ok, i have a 91 240 5sp. and i have had alot of problems with it lately. At first, It started as after the car would warm up it wouldnt want to start. if it was still cold then it would start fine. but when warm it would just continually crank and smell like fuel. then after a few months of that, now its hard to start all the time. It will try to crank first, then die. then ill do it again, it will start but immediately die. then about on the fourth time, it will stay running but will sputter and hesitate while driving. I really need to get this fixed, please help if you can. i think someone was saying its maybe a leaky injector or something but im not sure. thanks in advance joel

sounds like your getting too much fuel, check that you're getting proper spark... if that's good, check the MAFS like stated above.

have you changed the plugs/wires/cap and checked the coil? run some injector cleaner through it also if none of those work then pull your fuel rail and look at the injectors
