I think I cracked my transmission front collar assembly and a friend told me I need to run a certain throw out bearing or (Release bearing) on my Hyper single clutch. I'm currently using the OEM SR one but I think the Datsun 510 release bearing may work?

Another friend is running an OS Giken on his car but seems like most of the old threads with links are dead or not working. Can anyone give some insight on this stuff. If I can use the Datsun 510 throw out bearing what year was it so I could try my local auto part stores to see if they have them in stock?
