DIY fmic intercooler piping easy sample ?

hey guys,

looking for an easy way to build a sample piping for my fmic setup.
i want 2.5" aluminium piping and my welder needs some kind of sample that he can recreate in my specs.

so im looking for all kinds of flexible pipes or something i can easily bend to create smooth corners and short ways.

at the moment i got some universal piping i cut down with several samco hoses that i dont like.

is there an easy way to build a sample for my welder.
or do i have to wield something up with cut down universal steel pipes (which i dont like at all)

cheers

They make kits that can be snapped together to mock up for fitment so you can layout your piping. They even have angles marked on the pipe so you can replicate it exactly rather than guessing.

I used to weld these kits up for our swaps when we did two or three swaps a week. Usually just use your eyes, mark the U-bend, make a cut. I never had a problem eye-balling it, there is plenty of room for plus or minus.
