this build is pretty crazy! i like it!
i dont know a lot about rotarys and i understand this is your race car but would a set up like this be streetable? would it require constant tuning?
i also have to ask why? why the s chassis and not an fc or fd?

Race tracks do have decibel limits, and no human ears can handle an n/a 3 rotor at 10k with no mufflers.

The car has been around for a while. It originally had a 13b turbo making 530 wheel. I had an FD before this car, but for some reason liked the s14 more. I really cant explain it, I just like this car. My s14 never had an issue with performing at the race track along side our FD track car either. I think the driver can nullify the difference between most well set-up chassis.

Our FD track car.

I don't really drive this car on the street much, just to test something out every once in a while. The engine set-up is really easy to live with. Really just change spark plugs every once in a while.

Brembo photos. These are mono-block cnc calipers. These calipers are what grand-am/ alms cars use along with nascar. They have titanium inserts on the pistons and are really light over all. Front brakes, there about 8 inches wide. Wish I had a g35 Brembo to compare the size difference to, what my car had on it before. We had the hats custom made to get the right offset, and the brackets for the caliper mount.

Here is an interior shot so far. I have the bumper off so the lights and stuff are in the cabin. Probably could be cleaner as well, just because it's a track car does not mean you cant detail the interior.

Here is a really late update. I made a lapse in judgement and temporarily sold the chassis. Fortunately I was able to fix my mistake and get the chassis back exactly in the same shape it left, basically it got stored for me. It's very rare to make a mistake and be able to undo the mistake like it never happened, I feel I am very fortunate to get my car back without it being altered or changed.

Here is a pic to kick start a string of new updates. I tore the car down right when last winter started to change a couple things. I also wanted to redo my dry-sump scavenge lines to reduce the medusa looking a/n lines in the engine bay. I want to reduce the line clutter ultimately in the engine compartment.

And I cant forget about the new kicks she got upon her return, 18x10.5/ 9.5 AME tm-02's. I think the wheels accent the brembo X9.060 brakes pretty well.

Plenty of updates on the re-assembly to come. I just feel fortunate that I was able to undo my original lapse of judgement, and get my car back. Stay tuned for the re-birth of the nissan/ mazda freak.
