Help Idling problem!

Hey I'm not sure where to post this, but I need help.

I have a 92 hatch and it drives great. Only problem is that it runs very rich and idles at about 1500, 2000 at startup. After driving for most of the day, it seems to idle like crap (between 300 and 500) almost as if it wants to die out.

Anybody have an idea of whats my issue?
If so, how can I fix it?

try cleaning the MAF sensor, throttle body, and IAVC, that might help the idle.
Does your idle lower after the warm up cycle?

timing... check the timing chain, CAS timing and ignition timing before doing anything else.

Then try cleaning your sensors.

If that doesn't work, check for bad grounds...

Such is the way of the S.....
