some assistance with my window visor install?
hey guys i just got myself the 180sx window visors. it was brand new so it has instructions and all but its in Japanese. well from looking at the pictures only, i mostly figured out with clips pair with each other but im having trouble with the placement of the clips. if the instructions were in english, that would be great but they're not. i was hoping that someone who that has done it b4 can give me some pointers. thanks

yea its kinda hard to do. i got mine on with the clips and everything, but after a while the clips just fall off. soo the only thing holding mine on now is the double side tape.
if u really want to install em with the clips, be sure to glue the little plug things together. the one with one end that sticks into the other end. also in my pics, that should be the correct way to put them together. the clips in the bottom pic go all the way to the end of the door (b pillar?) and the 1st pic goes in the middle section hope that helps |

I have old double sided tape that isn't usable and have some new double sided tape. Now, my question is do I try to take off the old tape and apply the new one or just apply the new tape over the old one? I just have the straight type of double sided tape not the one that looks similar to the factory one.

i say u should take off the old one first. if u add it on top, it will be thick and not install nicely. also if u do use the straight kind, cut it so it goes in the same way as the oem one. or else u will see thru the other side

Is there an easier way to take off the old tape? I've removed some of the tape but the sticky stuff of the tape still remains. Ive tried goo gone but it didn't help much. I've used my nails to get to them but it gets tiring.

Wire wheel. It makes a mess but it does tear through pretty easily. Acetone eats the adhesive pretty well too.

they make a circular eraser that attaches to the end of a drill.
