burnt light wiring

Recently my right headlamp has been acting weird, it came on and would go off every once in awhile. Now its been off for a week or two now and i looked to see if it was te bulb, nope. Anyone thats changed their bulbs nows the H4's have 3 pins that go into the 3 holes of nissan fuse or whatever but when i looked at it yesterday it looked damaged. There was a build-up of black sh*t inside it and the metal pins may have been damaged. I figure it needs to be replaced so does anyone know where i could get it or if it can be fixed?
Also i found that the car has a dimmer part of the high-beams come on when this happened, safety feature? thanks
