KA ka24de revs and dies

alright new to this but i swaped another ka24de into my 89 coupe.
swap went fine no problems but on start up it revs up to 3k then bogs down to anout 1.5k and then dies. maf is still good,all the grounds are in place,
NEED HELP.harness is the same from the past engine,just done know what it could be. will stay on if i keep my foot on the gas but dies after.

any help is welcomed.

Check vacuum lines. The ECU tells the engine to run at a certain rate for the initial startup, then drop down to "idle."

Something is preventing the car from doing this. See if your idle air control valve is clean. There's a large vacuum line going to it, from the air intake (the larger one)

It was my MAF. Changed it amd my alternator and it ran good but now im guessing i blew the HG cuz the day after i checked my oil and it looks like it has coffee foam on it when i took the valve cover off. This sucks ass

Yea. Im guessing its gunna cost ms a pretty penty to fix it. I might as well do a complete rebuilt

The ting is all that foam stays on the head. When i check the oil on the dipstick it looks all good even in the sunlight where you would notice any coolant or water. HELP!
