ok well i just figured out why the motor wouldnt hold idle. the bottom of my freddy intake manifold wasnt completely sealed so i fixed that and now it idles finally

well heres a video of me testing my bee*r since i got it to idle
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OpC7PNXprBk

edit: well went to make sure the car would still idle and it wont anymore it seams to have another vacuum leak i can hear it but cant find where its coming from. ive had about 4 different vacuum leaks. i really hope this is the last one

Good to hear you are making progress. Might be time to do a smoke test and find the remaining leaks.

well i found a new vacuum leak and fixed it yesterday. car held idle today when i tested it but shot a decent sized puff of smoke so i turned the car off. i let it sit for a little while to try and figure out why the smoke thing happened. as i was cranking it it locked up -___- havent figured out why it did that yet but i was researching and it looks like its something to do with a bad injector luckily i have a extra set of stock injectors in my possession.

Damn man you keep running into problem after problem, you should just organize everything and go over everything to make sure you'll be good.

You've definitely stuck with it through multiple problems. I recently had a similar experience with bad gaskets, leaks, bad IACV, etc. Just one thing after the other. It gets frustrating!

Oh okay I see, and yeah psm is very good I personally didnt choose to get the lcas and rlcas due to my thoughts of them being over kill, not really necessary IMO but to each his own, I just modded mine. I'd say get the 2nd pair of equips they'll be awesome, and yeah I get you I wish I could do the same already.

That's why its always good to go over/replace all gaskets, before swapping in the motor.

so i found a hole in my return line to the fuel tank which was causing my car to leak alot of gas onto the ground, hooked up my power steering finally, planning on bleeding my clutch and brakes within the next couple of days. all that i have left to get my car driving is get a front bash bash bar made, get the rear knuckles and then rear z rotors. hopefully in january ill be on the streets driving and getting ready for some track events
