s13 to z32 ebrake cable routing

So I'm installing the 2+2 z32 cables on my s13 chassis for the z32 ebrake. I routed the cables through the same path my original ebrake cables took, and it seems very tight, like it will be difficult to get the brackets and everything to bolt up. Is there a different path I should route them? Cut a corner somewhere? I already read importnuts 300zx brake swap page and he does not go into detail about using the 2+2 cables.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Did you bolt the cable brackets to the chassis in the same position as the original cables? If so, that's your problem. Z32 cable swaps require an adapter bracket for where they mount under the floor. Street Faction sells them
