SR TD05 16G on SR20DET question

I have TD05 16G with manifold and downpipe to fit SR20. The question I have is will the engine run if I’ll run it on stock boost (7psi) without a tune?

It will start, idle, and run fine. You're going to want to get it tuned to drive in boost safely.

Also, stock s13 sr20det boost pressure is variable between 10-12psi via the factory boost pressure solenoid. Wastegate pressure is 7psi.

Most people seem to not understand this.

Thanks, that exactly what I needed to hear. I guess I’ll ride stock for now.
