So here's a question that I haven't seen pop up yet. It's known that you need to machine the stock rwd crank pulley and get a spacer for the oil pump drive when running the sr20ve cover on a rwd block. But can you use a combination of stock fwd parts and not have to bother with the machining? Have a full p11 sr20ve sitting in the garage is why I ask.

For instance can you run the fwd pulley and be fine? Run the fwd crank/pulley with rwd rods/pistons?

Water pump and alternator wouldn't line up or rotate at the correct speed.

I did the same. brand new p11 oil pump drive collar is cheap to come by, machined a few mm off the back of the pulley and it all lines up nicely

The Sr20/Sr22vet thread

Just read the whole thread start to finish , lots of great info here !
Bit of a random question , saw the efr7670 mentioned a few times is anyone actually running one on a vet set up at all?
I’m In the process of building a 22vet for my widebody s15 and I actually have a full race twin scroll twin gate efr7670 to go on it . Doesn’t seem to be many dyno charts or street drive info about for these so was wondering if anyone has experience of this turbo on these engines at all? Thanks in advance

Works great. A drift car in Austia runs one in an AE86.

Our 647.9 PS translated to about 640 of your horsepowers.

The Sr20/Sr22vet thread

That’s awesome ! Thanks for taking the time to respond , looks like a lovely delivery of power too !
Mine is the twin external gate AR 1.05 so won’t pick up quite as quick I should imagine as the internal twin scroll is 0.92 I believe, should still be pretty good judging by that graph though [emoji16][emoji16]

Cheers. Yes, the integrated wg t4 is 0.92, but I guess yours will not be that much different (just everything shifted a bit to the right).

In about 2-3 month my new 2.25l VE will be dyno'd with a 7163 .80. It's about the same spec as the other engine. Will let you know how that went...

Nice ‘ look forward to seeing how that stacks up , they look like real nice turbos , very responsive !
Yeah I guess it shouldn’t be that different really maybe a little less down the bottom and a little more up top. Shall find out soon enough [emoji16]

Sorry, I don't know. My personal opinion: Running anything smaller than 3.5" with a turbo this size, will result in a loss of "spool".

Has anyone seen EFI Hardware's VE ITB kit yet?

https://www.efihardware.com/products...Pro-Series-Kit

Look pretty slick but that price tag kind of turns me off. Still thinking on them very hard since my 11:1 NA build has their name written all over it but shipped to my door (canada) after duty/taxes a Mazworx intake and 90mm TB is $1100cdn cheaper... that's a lot of money for not much if any hp gain...

I'll be running a little more then 11:1 since that's what the pistons claim for a De head but don't have the best gas around here to go much higher.

And are the adapters everyone used still available for the m3 itbs? Could always get them welded to a flange I suppose if not

Don't think they are available anymore. Watch out for those de pistons and cams bigger than the factory p11 be. You might bend valves.

Cool thanks. And yeah I'm fairly sure I'm going to have to get the pistons flycut for the valves, was looking at kelfords haha

ok so considering changing turbo for the build...I currently have a Gt35r .82 AR, and considering going to a GTX3071r gen 2 in a .63 or .82 AR

Motor specs currently are:
CP 9:1 DET 87mm piston on stock sleeves
calculated compression is 9.285:1 with decking
1.8mm apexi headgasket
Eagle Rods
Mazworx head studs
P11 VVL head with Supertech 93lbs springs
P11 Cams
Mazworx Intake/Kit
ID1300 ATL FC with Bosch 088

all other supporting mods are there...

tunning will be on pump and C16 for now until I put in E85 compliant fuel lines

Not really looking to make more than 550Whp as it think the bottom end will become an issue.

Thoughts..
