Flooded Cylinder 1 with gas! help!

Hi guys

I changed my fuel rail and upon doing this a injector o ring got damaged but I didn't know! So it dumped a small pool of fuel in cylinder 1.

I cranked the engine and it would crank then suddenly seize.

I took out all the plugs, pumped all the fuel out of the piston and dried the soaking wet plug.

I'm scared I'll damage a rod or valve or already have

Any ideas if my engine is ok?

Upon priming the fuel pump I saw no fuel enter any of the cylinders so I hope it's fixed the problem (before I heard a gushing sound when it was priming)

I just want to be confident before I try start her up again. Any tips? Few drops of oil in the piston perhaps?

Engine is a SR20DET

Cheers

Did it just crank over but it didn't fire off? If so it's fine. Disable the ignition and crank it over with the plugs out to squirt the fuel out of the cylinder. Dry spark plugs and re install everything and fire it up.

Yeah it just cranked but stopped sorta like if you were to start a car in gear.

Thanks for the advice I'll give it a go

Any idea why it would do that anyways?

Pull the fuel pump fuse and crank it a couple of times. Hope everything is still fine
