can i run Z32 MAF on stock sr20det without tuning edu?
i know this had been brought up be4. but i just can find a thread about it. i have 2 z32 MAFs laying around. just wanna put on my car and see if they work. i bought them for my gt2871r which i m still collecting parts.
just wonder how will it runs on stock ecu. current mod: redtop sr20det apexi intake stock T25 greddy FMIC HKS SSQV Tomei manifold Tomei turbo elbow 3 inch down pipe JIC ti exhuast greddy profec A boost control otherwise stock on engine... thanks for the input. KELvin |

no! It wont run properly or at all! You need a rom tune/ safc/ or standalone playboy! Be patient and save some $ bro!

exactly what rps13 said you need some sort of way to tell the ecu your running that maf. i run the z32 maf with an apexi safc 2. you can get them used on most forums either the safc 1 or 2 for pretty cheap

I have a Z32 Maf on a stock S14 SR20DET.
It runs like crap w/out any tuning. I use a SAFC2. and have sensor settings at 02(z32) in, 05(s14a) out.

NO you cant run a z32 maf on a EDU. Just kidding lol no it wont work youll be running to rich and it wont run properly. Save your money for a tune first. Good luck!
