Stuffing wide, low offset rims on the front with slammed car.
Hey, not that i'm going to be doing this in the near future but I was wondering what the process one had to go through to fit something like 17x9's 10 or 0 offset on the front with the car pretty slammed. I get rubbing problems with my car being low and my wheels being stock diameter (205-55-16) but offset being at 0. I adjusted the caster and that has made things better but I imagine having a much wider rim would be a pain in the ass to fit, over fenders would be the easy part but getting the wheel to not hit up against the wheel wells sounds like a task. This and the lack of camber adjusting arms in the back has kept me from lowering my car anymore and i dont even have tie rods with spacers. I can safley clear most speed bumps, I want to go a little lower.
Are the wheel wells cut out and rewelded to have more room? Any input is appreciated. |

i ran 17x9 -1 fronts. 235/40/17 tires. fender roll. sledgehammer in common hit points on the wheel well, 8-9 caster. -3.5 camber. it was hot.

Im running 17x8.5 245/45/17 with perfect flushness. Never had any thing rub or anything else different then having stock rims. They are 35+, 1mm from the suspension and 0mm from the fender.
