This is my fitment with almost -3 camber and yoko s drive 225/40

This is of it moving around, this was with caster forward and it would rub the well on a bad bump or turning on a incline up/downward

Granted I have 50mm overfenders in the rear but I'm fairly confident you could squeeze them on a pulled stock body. I had a 25mm spacer on the 10's with no camber and a 20mm spacer on the 8.5s with maxed camber plates. Your 8's will be about 26mm more sunk even with a 20mm spacer. But put it at zero camber and it would fit alright.

Personally, I'd run the 9's up front with a 215-40 and a small spacer. My LMGT4's are the same size and I needed a 5mm spacer to clear the coilovers, which are also PBM. Then either get the 10s on YAJ and sell the 8's or just rebuild the 8's. Those are welded so you would need to cut the welds if you go that route. You could rebuild to 9.5j +26 or 10j +20 for instance.

Also, so you can approximate tire size, I run 17x9 all around and have 205-40s up front (which I want to switch to 215-40s) and 225-45s in the rear.
+repped thanks for your advice! I've gone ahead and contacted threepiece and they've quoted me 200 per rim to rebuild the 8's. I'd love to pick up the 18x10, but can't spend that much cash on goodies right now.

Hello zilvia i have done a lot of searching through google and ziliva and I just had some final questions before buying tires .
I have a s13 hatch with no fender modifications . I just bought a set of rays gram lights in 17x9 +22 . I have Fortune auto 500 coilovers. I can't decide which size tire I should run . I really want to run federal 595- RS- RR . The thing is I know that they run a bit wider and that's where I need help . I'm going back and forth on running 235/40r17 all around or 215/40r17 all around or 215/40r17 in the front and 235/40r17 in the back . I'm fine with a light roll and camber but I don't wanna pull my fenders . Can I get alway with running 235s in the front or should I be on the safe side and run 215 in the front .

^^ What he said.

I would not run staggered tire sizes on those wheel. I prefer a square setup as I find that it maintains the car's neutral balance. I found that staggered tires induce understeer.

I ran 235/40R17 all around on my 17x9 +20 with just rolled fenders and -3* camber all around. I did fit 245/40 in the rear on those same wheels too. That size would have probably fit on the front as well. With your +22 offset you could definitely run 245/40R17 all around.

Yea I thought it over and I'm definitely going with the 235/40R17 all around . I could deal with an 1 inch gap between the fender and tire and camber . I just thought 235 would require more fender work . But thanks again guys !

235/40/18 is tall for fronts.

I would go with 225/40 or 245/35 if you want a square setup.

Some even run 215/35f 225/40r if you need more clearance to go low

If you scroll up on my post, i've got 225/40 on 9.5 Even though offset is a little higer and smaller wheel it should be sorta the same fitment. My issue is having the front semi low and it rubs the well when cast is too forward and when its back it rubs the fire wall.

Still trying to see my options. Im stuck at running spacers and more camber.

I had 235/45s put on 17x9s and had to keep them in rear on my s13. It rubbed everywhere up front.

I just recently switched from 225/40/18f 235/4018r to 235/40/17 square on the s14 and I'm liking all the room in the wheel well. Lol

Hey I have a 1998 s14, and was wondering if the 18x9.5 +10 cosmis xt206r's would fit without rolling or pulling the fenders? Not really going for a slammed look either. Also suggested tire size?

Does the search not work?

I'm trying to figure out what size spacer I will need to have the XXR 968 17x10 +20 clear my front coilovers and 300zx brakes.

I have an s13,steering angle kit, and +20mm fenders installed.
Just trying to get -3 camber all around.

Received my blitz back from threepiece. They're now 17x9.5 +26 and 17x10.5 +26, one of the issues I'm running into is I have Z32 brakes, which cause the fronts not to clear the calipers. Any suggestions on what size spacer to run? I would be running stock front fenders, but I have no issues with rolling/pulling or even running larger fenders.

As for the rears they fit with no issues really, but the lip of the inner barrel is very very very close to rubbing the inner fender well. I'm sure I'll need to run a rear spacer also, but still don't know what size either.

Pics for the people!

I run 225/35 on my 9.5. not what you are after, but NS20s stretch very well. the local tire guy is always surprised he doesn't have to use a cheetah.

if you are seeing others stretch that same size, but different tire, id think you would be okay.

also, these pix don't help much, but atleast you know someone is doing it with conti tires:

I will be downsizing from 255/35 to 245/40 (slightly cheaper and common sizing) since I just received my new lips for my wheels. I'll have 3 pairs of 18x12.

Youll have issues with the wheels hitting suspension components.

Hey guys, I just recently got all of my front suspension installed on my s14. I am running z32 30mm Al front calipers and have a pair of SSR Minerva's in 18X10 +9 Lo Disk. Tried testing fitting them and unfortunately they don't clear the brake caliper. It looks to me like a 10mm spacer should get the clearance needed but Im not 100% sure. Can anyone make a suggestion as to what size spacer I should get to clear? I want the smallest spacer possible as I really dont like running spacers at all. Also, I was planning to just get the Z1motorsports hub centric spacers with ARP extended studs. Are those decent spacers or has anyone run into problems with them? Let me know what you guys think.
Thanx, Cameron

Alright. Second go round, a little more decisive on my build this time.

Need to know what offset and tire sizes I should aim for.

S13 Coupe

Front:
Around 3° camber
18 x 9 to 11
40 or 55mm fenders
Z32 Brakes

Rear:
As close to 0° camber
18 x 10 to 12
55mm Overfenders
Dual Caliper Z32 Brakes

I know theres a lot of variation in the widths but I want to keep an open mind. I apologize if I forgot anything, it's been one of those days lol.

You need to decide on widths before anyone can suggest any tires for you. ET is also going to help determine the tire size factor as well.

Buy a set of wheels, then figure out tire sizes.

Hey guys was wondering if you could help me. I am trying to get wheels for my car but not sure what size and offset to go with. Here are some pictures: (fenders are +60mm and +40mm, I believe)

Hey guys, Im new to this forum. Just picked up a 97 and would like to slam the thing. Im interested in some wheels that vrwheels.com have. Was hoping you guys can help me out on wether or not they will fit under stock rolled fenders. Wheel specs are 18x10 +3 18x11 -9
I want to rim to fender, possibly tuck in the rear but do not want to pull at all. Thanks in advance!

Yup! Just takes rolled fenders and -3 deg camber (front top hats and RUCA's). You can get away with less camber if you start pulling the fenders.

edit: this info is for S13. S14 has even more room under the fenders.
