How to remove the AC belt without cutting it? (SR20DET)



I got all the other ones off no problem, but I do not see how to start on this one.. I'm guessing it has something to do with the idle pulley?

It's called a tensioner pulley, not an idler. The nut on the pulley holds it in position and there is a bolt to adjust the belt tension. It's identical to the P/S and Alt. tensioners.

I was just going to leave it on there for now. I could go ahead and take it off I guess. I don't really have plans to go about doing all that AC stuff.

Can i buy that compressor off of you? if you got no plans for AC install
I had mine running for years until the compressor stopped working.
