my car's a pile of shit but here it is with nismo 3", tip is 4.5". tip is sunk in like crazy and since the hangers got bent in shipping the muffler hangs super high (tow hook removed), cooks the inside of the bumper a bit.

nice deep rumble at idle but waaaayyyyyy too quiet.

just a tip to anyone buying exhausts

if you want you car low in the future at anytime

stay away from all the giant canister/muffler systems.they will hit everything.

Get a straight pipe-esque exhaust or a type of muffler that isnt huge.

how does the Apex GT spec exhaust sound? I have heard it on a 400rwhp S14 with an SR.. just curious on a stock SR. Im sure its a lil more raspy?

what i can say is a deep deep deep tone, not that kind of civic "Blaaalllaaaaalalaaa" sound, its a really solid unique tone, i like it so much except when indoor, coz it will rumble the whole indoor parking lot

Yeah the piping is one of the biggest on the market, 3.74" at the biggest section. I used to set off car alarms cruising through town with an sr.

Getting an rb25 s13 coupe with a silvia front end and RSR ExMag exhaust soon. Hopefully today.

Megan Type 2 Exhaust
Running straight pipe to the megan type 2 muffler on an sr. Spray painted flat black for an even stealthier look. Ill probably add a resonator to it since I want it more quieter.
It hugs the chassis pretty good with the custom hangers.

Sound depends on too many variables (size of exhaust, muffler in stream, cat, bends, manifold styles, etc.). Plus, its all subjective. Whats loud and obnoxious to me might sound great to someone else.

Ask for a sound clip.

P.S. I vote we merge the exhaust threads and sticky it somewhere as I can come to it in the future for reference (as well as many other people).

Sound clips with DC Sports header, gutted cat, dual exhuast cam set up, and drop in filter with cut intake box.

Needless to say, it's loud! Working on getting a transitional test pipe for it and an ECV to help bring the noise level down. BTW, this is on a KA.

He had a DC Sports header and a gutted cat. Thats why it was so raspy.
