Just so people are aware, this is a 90mm bore drawing these numbers. A smaller cylinder is going to effect overall numbers. Any chance you have a standard bore to produce numbers on? I understand you've probably CNC'd the combustion chamber for this head. However, it would be beneficial to have numbers on a head that doesn't go "balls to the wall".

Keep me posted on the development of your "product" you contacted me about. I will need some lead time to get the car to you and square some things away with you guys.
Hey man,

Will do on the product development, as per the flow charts I'm trying to get new ones every day, looks like a stock S13 head is up for today so we'll have some awesome comparison between the VE and DET!

Now about those billet intakes I was teasing, more teasers!

Also as promised here's the flow of a stock DET head, this is an S14 not an S13. The S13 will be available in a couple of days.

Hey guys, this is a bit off topic but since a lot of my customers frequent this thread I just wanted to let everyone know that starting the 1st of August I will no longer be with Mazworx. I will be transferring over to Real Street and look forward to still providing you guys with insight and deals.

So the TLDR, if you want Zilvia pricing on Mazworx parts you have about a week and a half to get it!

I'll be purchasing the mazworx vvl conversion kit within the week and have some questions about the iacv and throttle body. I've researched online about other setups and see alot of different answers. If i go for the q45 throttle body, what year do you prefer to use? I also see that Mazworx sells a ross 75mm throttle body or i can go with a mustang one was well (not sure of year/model, etc). Which throttle body do you guys see the best results with? And also, is there a preferable iacv to utilize?

All Q45 TB's are the same, the Ross 75mm is the better street car tb and the 90mm is good for higher horsepower applications. The q45 is the least ideal choice of the 3 as it is just so damn bulky. As for IACV use whatever one you have now. They all function the same.

Thanks for the input Hanz. What tps do you run with a Ross tab though?

Generic Ford style, also found on Mazworx's website.

How much power would you say is rated for a 75mm tb vs a 90mm? I keep trying to look up references but not many 75mm users out there and everyone says 90mm for big hp (when is it efficient?)

I was hoping to get some help on deciding which turbo to run Or any recommendations. I've done my fair share of research and I'm deciding between a gt3576, gt3582, or maybe even a 3076 if it can get me the hp I want without maximizing the efficiency of the turbo. I'm shooting for around 550-600. I know I can't have best of both worlds as far as response and power but I want something can come as close as possible. A brief list of mods:

p12 head & cams +1mm in +2mmexh valves
Mazworx intake manifold with 82.5mm mustang tb
Doc race dual waste gate twin scroll t3 exhaust manifold
Id1300cc fuel injectors (E85)
Sleeved block (86mm bore 9.0 compression)
More than likely Haltech ecu

What turbo do you guys have had experience with or any info on that'll help me achieve my goal, even if it's not one of the choices I stated earlier. Any info helps.

Gtx3576 in .63 is what I would run. GTX3076 .84 on my car now. Should've gone with the smaller backside, but have options in decrease spool time.

It seems like a great option, just want to see if there's any feedback on it. Seems like a good amount of dsm guys run it. When are you seeing full boost on your setup?

I see full boost at roughly 4500rpms. Keep in mind I have the worst cams you can run for boost response. I also do not have my cams optimized. N1's sitting on the shelf currently waiting install and a retune. The smaller backside would yield better response as well. I enjoy the nice fat mid range and high rpm pull my setup provides though.

If I were starting from scratch, I would absolutely run one. I had most of my exhaust components already. I also would've had to wait quite a while, if you remember, the EFR's were delayed release multiple times.

With the VE's ability to optimize cylinder pressure, I'd go 62mm EFR/GTX or down to the EFR7163

The Sr20/Sr22vet thread

I ran the 12v from a relay, the intake cam to generic output pin #111 (wg solenoid) and the exhaust cam to #25 (high EGTL).

OK I have searched through the thread and have not found the answer...

I am in the middle of a mazworx VVL conversion on my currently built bottom end. I just want to verify that you can run 9:1 CP DET pistons using an apexi 1.8mm headgasket with the VVL setup using P11 Cams.

I run 8:5:1 det pistons with a p11 vvl head and tomei 1.8mm head gasket. Have run both n1 and kelford 292/303 cams with no issues. Did putty during assembly and had lots of clearance even with vvl locked on.

Although mazworx did the head work on my head and the way they set it up might have made more clearance as they knew I was running det pistons with no valve relief.

Why is no one running taarks? Better pricing less bulky machining, and you don’t have to get the head machines to run a pickup.
