Yes I do have knowledge of how cars work. I also tried your suggestion and it didn't present any changes to the issue. Think about it this way, you can still start your car with the maf unplugged, But It'll just idle like crap right? Mine doesn't even idle.
I've also tried the basics like iac valve inspection/adjustments, adding throttle, vacuum line inspections. I just want it to idle
