So I've been trying to do some research on how to clean up the plastic lens of my gauge cluster and plastic dash pieces because mine aren't exactly beautiful. i took out most of my dash pieces so far and cleaned them up but that just took the dust off.. i mean my vehicle is an 89 so what do you expect... i tried the search feature and if you couldn't tell i'm kind of a "newb"...
so i guess i was just wondering what everyone else used to clean up these pieces?

i found this thread - http://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=47865 which is 11 years old but people were suggesting meguiars #10 plastic cleaner and #17 plastic polish. would that work for the regular plastic pieces of the dash?
