I think most of us are familiar with the R390 Nissan endurance/Le Mans racer from the late 90's, but I personally had never heard of the p35. I never even knew Nissan developed a v12 engine, much less one making 620 horsepower from 3.5 liters naturally aspirated, and with an 11.6k rpm redline to boot. Pretty impressive stuff, especially with the all-carbon construction for the early 90's. And the sound
. Its too bad the program got killed after a single race, and it begs the question of how competitive it would have been with further development. Anybody else know this thing existed?
