Only reason to ever go/stay renesis engine is if its in an rx8 and your trying to stay in a lower class of SCCa or NASA with an unmodified engine to be competitive on the scoreboards. When you engine swap the S13, that defeats the purpose, you get put in a high their modified class. If you want to go 13b, get a 13b-TT Cosmo block, put a FD auto rear iron on it, run a turbo 2 transmission with FD auto bellhousing and FD pull type clutch setup. Then you just need an EMS like megasquirt, haltech, or microtech to run it. You'll be at ~350whp stock porting and stock twins and still less invest than the stock renesis swap that only makes ~170-180 if your lucky.
The renesis really isn't worth it. You'll get mean mugged from the 240 community for putting a rotary in the 240 and mean mugged from the rotary community for putting a crap engine in your car.
