Alright just to maybe help some people out. When i lift the diaphram on my egr the engine dies right away. But i took the EGR BPT valve off and the factory service manual says to plug one side up and apply vacum, i did that and found a leak. So hopefully thats the problem, i tried 3 different ones and they were all leaky, so check yours seems like they go bad.
