What I thought was going to be a simple fix, turned out to be the opposite. I broke off the brittle plastic piece that holds the screw and spring in place for the mirror back plate. Now I think I'm screwed.
Does anyone know of an alternative fix? I really don't want to have to buy a WHOLE new mirror if I don't have to.
