I'm well aware of this situation. I always keep the tank as full as possible to prevent any kind of pump starvation. I am going to lower it very soon as well as get a bigger fuel filter.

I do not know the actual price of the cage that was put in the car. That however around my town is what the going price of a cage that fits way shittier would go for.
