Shell + base is easy. Forward facing is easy. The ~ 1 year period in between, fixed seat facing backwards is cumbersome. Kinda have to sit besides it to take baby in/out, which could be hard to do if you have more than 1 kid.
But 1 year goes by really fast. Before you know it baby will climb in/out himself.
And coupes +2 seats are meant for kids, right?

Just don't have 3 kids 6 and under. These fucking baby car seats take up so much room until they get to a booster and you have no choice other than a 3 room CUV unless you want essentially a 2 seater. If it were physically possible to fit 3 car seats in the back seat of a sedan I'd be in a Chevy SS or a CTS.
