there are some differences worth mentioning but i will agree that they are minimal.
#1 - wastegate port size. every cast manfold that i have ever seen for the 2jz has a 38mm size wastegate port flange and cast material is not easy to weld onto either if you are thinking about opening it up and welding on another flange.
#2 - tubular vs. log style manifold. both can make awesome power but their shape and design place the turbo, wastegate and downpipe in slightly different locations.
