People I need to reiterate this. Heat wrapping has been found to be a bad idea
The heat wrap does not allow the mount to breath thereby sealing heat in if they do get hot.

A common mistake people often make with heat wrapping is not putting anything on top of the mount. It is the closest thing to your turbo and therefor absorbs the most heat. If you have used heat wrap and not done anything to the top it can cause failure..

There is a reason even the factory Nissan heat shield is on top and bent over rather than just being on the side. Hence why I made my new heat shields to eliminate the possibility of user error.

I have lots of people running high HP engines with even factory heat shields and not having any problems.

So I reiterate do not use heat wrap pay the money and buy a heat shield.
