There's no hassle to run 9's up front at all (he has an s14)
a 17x10 +12 w/ 10mm spacer would require the same pull and camber as Ni yon Zenki has and stretched tires, you should definitely get some wide fenders if you wanna keep the camber reasonable and run decent tires or else it's just not gonna work.
