I have not torn it down yet.. but might have to. I was originally hoping to sell as all one unit. Block has never been bored, aftermarket pistons stock size.
The behavior was really odd. I was cruising on the highway (not boosting, I was planning to go to the dyno to touch up tune soon) and i hear a light knock and at first was thinking "that isn't what I think it is" due to recently rebuilt.. and it got louder.. so i tried pulling over and getting off the highway and the knock was getting loud at that point.
Oil plug had a glob of junk on it but didnt see metal yet. I just took the engine out last weekend
