Our current brake package demands 17's for better or worse. I'm about to buy a set of G8 wheels @ $500 for a set of 4 wheels (currently the best wheels we've run / found.).

Given that we expect to damage our wheels periodically (as we do many thousands of race miles), $2836 for a set of these is worth 5.6 sets of the G8 wheels. 2lbs is a nice weight savings but that cost is a bit much.
