i have the sony mp3 player, and it does allow you to FF a song.  The cd takes a while to "do stuff" (about 20 seconds) when i turn the deck on and off, but i think all mp3 players have that problem.

I've heard that there's a deck in Japan with a 45GB hard drive.  Now that sounds sweet.

How much does an indash dvd player cost?
