You never ran the turbo? Did you mean new sr, installed and running and now you see it smoking blue smoke, so you took the inlet off and found this,


#2 or did you mean your new SR, just arrived, and happens to have this oil puddle present? the motor isn't running yet. I think this is what you mean, where the first is what people are generally responding to upon finding oil sucked out of their valve covers into the turbo inlet due to poor baffling of the valve cover.

#2 all you can do is clean it out and run it. Who knows how it got there? Maybe someone deliberately poured oil in there, or the motor tipped sideways or upside down at some point.
You would see the problem from the exhaust long before you had that much oil sitting there. Imagine what the inside of your intercooler would look like if you ran it like that, or if it ever got that bad.
