Whenever people say 6.0 instead of LS2, I always think they're talking about the much more affordable LQ4 or LQ9.

BUt Jeff makes a great point, the LS3 (a motor I often neglect to consider as you don't see them as often at yards around here) is really the badass base setup.

LS3's are great starting points ~ you can get the blocks for $1500 brand new.
