No one will get what they deserve but the owner of the car. People always blame others but forget their own faults and
negligence "Negligence" is not the same as "carelessness", because someone might be exercising as much care as they are capable of, yet still fall below the level of competence expected of them.
The thief won end of game. Its a sad situation but a life lesson learned, get an alarm
first thing next time. you had your guard down and some thief took the opportunity. I don't condone thieves or support their art but understand that everybody gotta eat in this economic meltdown.
Owner learned a good and invaluable lesson. Hope is all you could do.
