I've been thinking of trading my sr20 blk top for a ka-t. Cops r dicks over here where I live and i dont want to lose my car. I wanted to trade a ka-t at least half way built with a turbo kit, leave me mess and wirte me what u have and lets c whats up or email me at slayer8832@yahoo.com

all you got to do is register you car in Arizona. i just bought a sr20 coupe paid 26$ for 2 years and there is no smog here. all you got to do is get a po box here and then forward your mail to your home address in california. i did it for a while when i live in redondo beach. when i got pulled over i just told the cop i go to school in cali but az is my main address and they don't care really

i gotten ref twice in the past three year's( i live in SB too)and i still got my car.Just change the muffler to a stock looking one

even if you do get caught with ka-t, its a lot better than doing a motor swap when you get ref'd =p imo.

i must say it is ezier to change an exhaust manifold then cahnge a whole motor

Yeah, if you get caught with a ka-t all you need is to pull the turbo off. Unlike an sr you need to pull the whole engine out. Well keep this in mind I have a ka-t f/t its an s14 ka with 8.8:1 forged arias pistons with an 89.5 bore. T25 turbo the whole motor has just been rebuilt. Let me know what you think
